Lyric Diction Coaching for Opera and Lied

  Correct and clear pronunciation

  Optimal interpretative text comprehension

  German and Italian repertoire

Diction coaching is based on harmony between music and language combined with text comprehension. Thus operatic roles are studied and diction is improved and perfected. Language subtleties are explained in detail, and roles are discussed within the opera's context. However, priority is always given to the singability of the music.

  Music Therapy

According to the Wold Federation of Music Therapy music therapy “is the professional use of music and its elements as an intervention in medical, educational, and everyday environments with individuals, groups, families, or communities who seek to optimize their quality of life and improve their physical, social, communicative, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual health and wellbeing. Research, practice, education, and clinical training in music therapy are based on professional standards according to cultural, social, and political contexts” (WFMT, 2011).

As music therapist I use music and its elements (sound, rhythm, melody and harmony) to build a therapeutic relationship and tailor interventions to the patients needs to achieve the previously established goals.

I currently work with children and adults with autism (ASD) and intellectual disabilities, with adults with emotional disorders and in palliative care/oncology.
